Royal Phuket Marina's Town Square is coming to life with the opening of the first of many retail and lifestyle outlets.

First up is Pearl Beauty & Spa, Phuket’s trendiest new day spa, introduces a new concept to Phuket by blending exquisite beauty and wellness treatments from both east-and-west.

Kai Tak Interior Design, a one-stop shop for outfitting homes, combining a furniture showroom and interior design studio that can help residents design and furnish thier apartments and villas.

Among other exciting new developments is RPM Fitness, a new world-class fitness and well-being centre opening mid 2007

Phuket’s trendiest new day spa has opened at Royal Phuket Marina, uniquely combining European medical and Thai traditional techniques. Pearl Beauty & Spa is operated by French physiotherapist and chiropractor Melinda Briend-Marchal.

The elegantly designed spa introduces a new concept to Phuket, blending exquisite beauty and wellness treatments from both east-and-west. Specialties include chocolate or bamboo wraps, lymphatic draining, anti-cellulite ‘palper-rouler’ and anti-ageing facials.

Treatments extend to reflexology, D-stress, Amma massage and beauty therapies such as lifting, facials and ylang-ylang treatments Also offered are salon services from hair styling, manicures and pedicures.

Ms Briend-Marchal, manager of the new spa, is renowned for her experience at famous spas in Paris, including The Four Seasons.html George V Spa, and exclusive St Barths in the Caribbean. “My concept combines modern European and traditional Thai techniques to offer the most appropriate personalised treatments and quality care possible to discerning customers,” she says.

New residents are loving Kai Tak Interior Design at RPM, a one-stop shop for outfitting homes that has just opened in the Town Square.

Combining a furniture showroom and interior design studio, the business was opened and is managed by well-known resident, Peter Hay.

With an established team of designers in both Phuket and Bangkok, “Kai Tak is experienced in designing everything from a small unit to a large multi-million dollar villa,” Hay stated.

His team of contractors is available for fit-outs for RPM units, as well as other work around Phuket, and he promises “better service and quality than has been available in Phuket until now”.

The showrooms.html meanwhile showcase good quality, comfortable furniture from Danske Mobler of New Zealand, as well as Thai, Chinese and Indian furniture, and a wide selection of furnishings, antiques, curtains, carpets, rugs, blinds, kitchens, artifacts and silks.

“Basically, everything for a luxury unit is here. We can order furniture in from overseas from our extensive catalogues, as well as get furniture made to order. It’s a one-stop shop.”

Peter is next opening a wine retail shop, this Spring, as well as Skipper's Sports Bar and Restaurant on The Boardwalk, with a small fashion shop also planned, catering mainly for ladies.

KEEP FIT AT RPM FITNESS
A new state-of-the-art fitness centre will soon join the growing list of tenants,
occupying three floors in the Town Centre.

RPM Fitness offers world-class facilities including the latest equipment, and
classes ranging from Cardio Thai Boxing to RPM Spin classes. Regular guest-
trainer workshops are also being organised.
